A free and easy-to-use application that helps you to detect COVID-19 symptoms based on speech and voice. It is designed to work as an alarm for people who have symptoms and needs to be checked by a health care professional. The app is also designed to work as a self-help for people who want to check themselves for the virus.
We collected and analyzed more than 100 voice samples from a total of 36 people.
The voice samples were recorded using a smartphone with an integrated microphone. The app uses the microphone to capture the voice, which is spoken by the person. The recordings were obtained from a distance of 2 meters. The microphone was set at a distance of 1 meter from the subject. The voice recordings were obtained at a sampling rate of 16 bits.
